Summary:

Avila Ranch was identified in the 2014 LUCE for residential mixed use development. The development of the site requires the approval of a specific plan and tentative map, among other requirements. The project has been reviewed by the Bike Committee and the Parks and Recreation Committee in 2015. The Planning Commission's review will start the review of the specific plan, with an eye to eventual adoption by the City Council later in 2016.

Residents of town are encouraged to attend meetings and provide their voice and opinion of these projects. Your ideas are weighed heavily when considering the approval of a project. It is crucial to attend and participate to ensure a fair and equal representation from members of the community.
