San Luis Ranch is a proposed mixed-use community implementing the City’s 2014 General Plan Update. This integrated community offers a range of housing opportunities uniquely planned for entry level and head-of-household homebuyers. The project includes approximately 60 acres of permanently preserved agricultural land and open space. The project also includes a professional office center designed for the growing high-tech industry as well as a 4-star hotel to support the tourism industry.

What Is The Planning Commission & Why Should You Attend?

The San Luis Obispo Planning Commission consists of seven appointed professionals that advise the city on land use policies and specific development applications.

Residents of town are encouraged to attend meetings and provide their voice and opinion of these projects. Your ideas are weighed heavily when considering the approval of a project. It is crucial to attend and participate to ensure a fair and equal representation from members of the community.

San Luis Obispo Planning Commission meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM. The end time varies depending on the agenda and the events that take place during the meeting. To view the meeting agenda and supporting documents, Click Here.
