The South Town 18 project consists of 18 residential units, 9 of which are 450 square feet. Studio apartments, as well as a small flower shop space fronting the adjacent Creamery Marketplace. The property is a flag lot with no real frontage along Higuera St. First level retail opportunities were virtually non-existent. Instead we oriented a small amount of retail toward the Creamery along a pedestrian connection. The balance of the street level is dedicated to resident and creamery parking. The upper floors are all residential. This project will locate residents within the downtown core close to goods and services, which will help reduce reliance on cars. The smaller average sizes of the units are catering to active professionals who would place value on their proximity to our vibrant central business district over a larger suburban home.
